Here’s how IVF helps to increase your chance of pregnancy

What is IVF Treatments?

In-Vitro Fertilization is a type of assisted reproductive technology (ART) which is commonly known as IVF. IVF is a process in which extracted eggs are fertilized manually with a sperm sample in the laboratory at specific environmental conditions. Later, the fertilized egg or embryo is placed in the uterus.

IVF is ideal to treat the patients who has:
  • Damaged or blocked fallopian tubes
  • Low male sperm count
  • Low male sperm motility
  • Women having ovulation disorders
  • Premature ovarian failure
  • Uterine fibroids
  • Unexplained infertility
  • Genetic disorder

How IVF is performed?

IVF is performed in five basic steps. They are:
  • Fertility medicines are provided to stimulate egg production. The process needs multiple eggs. A trans vaginal ultrasound is performed to analysis ovaries and  control hormonal levels.
  • A minor surgical process is performed to retrieved eggs. Medication is provided to reduce discomfort and pain.
  • A sperm sample is taken from the male partner to combine with the eggs.
  • In the process of insemination, the eggs and sperm are attached and perform the fertilization in laboratory conditions.  After fertilization, fertilized eggs are considered as embryos.
  • Further, the embryos are placed into the woman uterus to develop. Generally this process is painless.

Benefits of IVF

  • Give hope to infertile people
  • Provide a successful reproduction
  • Help same sex couples and single women
  • Helps in diagnosing fertilization problems
  • Detect inherent diseases
  • Encourages donation of eggs or sperm
  • Diagnose chromosomal disorders

The success rate of IVF is solely depends on the patient medical and reproductive history, causes of infertility, maternal age, and other lifestyle factors.

Capsule Test Tube Baby - Ensuring Your Next Generation

The capsule test tube baby technique was first used in 2011 in the USA. Now it is available in India. The Capsule test tube baby technique is much less expensive in comparison to test tube baby technique. The technique is also known as an-vivo technique. The technique needs minimal ovulation which has an influence of certain hormonal drugs.

It is a procedure, in which fertilization has performed with the extracted eggs and sperm sample in the laboratory at controlled conditions. Further, this fertilized egg (embryo) has transferred to a capsule. This capsule further transferred into woman’s vaginal cavity to promote the development of embryos.

The Capsule test tube baby technique includes the placing of egg and sperm cells into a silicon capsule which has a size of rice grain. The capsule having the healthiest embryo is then placed in the uterus. The Capsule test tube baby technique was designed to reduce the amount of time that a growing embryo takes in woman embryo.

The Capsule test tube baby technique is an option for

  • Blocked or damaged fallopian tubes
  • Impaired sperm function or production
  • Uterine fibroids
  • Ovary failure
  • Low sperm count

Success Rate Of Capsule test tube baby technique

Rate Of Capsule test tube baby technique success rates depend on
  • The quality of eggs
  • The quality and viability of the embryos

Benefits of The Capsule test tube baby technique

  • Fertilization is possible even having a low sperm count
  • Helps in severe infertility problems
  • Help people to conceive
  • Help to conceive even having blocked tubes

Motherhood made possible with surrogacy treatment

What is Surrogacy?

Surrogacy is when couple who wants to have a child and are medically unfit to conceive, another woman carries and gives birth to a baby for the couples.

There are two kinds of Surrogacy:

Traditional Surrogacy: In this case the women  who gets artificially inseminated with the father's sperm carries and delivers the baby for the couples. In a traditional surrogacy the surrogate mother is the biological mother of the baby because it was her egg that was fertilized by the father's sperm. In this procedure Donor sperm can also be used.

Gestational Surrogacy: In this procedure the In vitro Fertilization (IVF) is used to gather eggs from the mother and fertilize them with sperm from the father. The embryo is then placed into the uterus of a surrogate mother, she then carries and delivers the baby. In this case the surrogate mother doesn't have any genetic relationship with the baby. In a gestational surrogacy the surrogate mother is called the "birth mother".

Why opt for a Surrogacy?
The following are the types of medical conditions that may consider for a Surrogacy:
  • Medical problems with the uterus
  • Recurrent pregnancy loss
  • Absence or malformation of the womb
  • Repeated in vitro fertilization (IVF) failures
  • Other conditions that make pregnancy risky for a woman, such as severe heart disease

How Surrogacy Works?

Surrogacy works on two basis Full surrogacy and Partial surrogacy :

Full Surrogacy: Full surrogacy also known as Gestational or Host surrogacy, involves the implantation of an embryo fertilized using either a donated egg that is fertilized with sperm from the intended father, an embryo created using donor eggs and sperm or the eggs and sperm of the intended parents
.
Partial Surrogacy: Also known as Straight or Traditional surrogacy involves an egg from the surrogate and sperm from the intended father. In this case the fertilization is usually done by Intrauterine insemination (IUI) or Artificial insemination.

Overcome Barriers And Build Your Family With IUI Treatment

An artificial insemination, which is used to treat infertility, is known as intrauterine insemination (IUI). In this process, specially prepared sperm is placed in the uterus at the time of ovulation. IUI will be planned with the woman monthly cycle or fertility medications and mostly depends on the woman situation.

http://www.ivfgenesis.com/iui-treatment/

The initial medical assessment of infertility analyse the sperm concentration, mortality power of the sperm, or any kind of abnormalities in the shape and size of sperm. The second step separates the normal, fast and higher quality sperm and prepares it to be sited. The sperm that have been cleaned and concentrated is directly sited in the uterus at the time of eggs release in the ovary. This helps one or more eggs to fertilize rapidly.  In the Previous methods, the sperm was placed in the vagina and have a little chance of fertilization. New method is rapid and more successful.

http://www.ivfgenesis.com/iui-treatment/

IUI is best for the couple
  • Needed donor sperm to conceive
  • Physically disable to vaginal intercourse
  • Tubal blockage or severe tubal damage
  • Have unexplained infertility
  • Menopause (ovarian failure)
  • Mild male factor infertility (subfertility)
  • Endometriosis related infertility
  • Cervical factor infertility
  • Semen allergy
IUI is not used in the case of fallopian tubes blockage. A significant factor for IUI is female age. Females above the age of 40 have a very little chance to conceive through IUI. Same, IUI is not working if the male has low sperm count, motility, size and shape.

Benefits of IUI

  • Provides frozen sperms to conceive, if one’s does not have
  • Induce ovulation
  • Separated good quality sperm
  • Avoids the role of cervix
  • Increase the chances of fertilization
  • Helps to avoids any kind to allergy that prevent pregnancy

Helping You On Journey Towards Parenthood

A procedure of artificial fertilisation, Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection or ICSI, is highly useful in cases where infertility is caused due to sperm irregularities. The process of ICSI helps in enhancing the fertilisation phase of ART (Assisted Reproductive Technique) like In Vitro Fertilisation.

The procedure of intracytoplasmic sperm injection involves the direct injection of a single sperm into the egg. This helps in ensuring fruitful fertilisation. The method of ICSI is beneficial in cases where infertility occurs due to lack of sperm count, decreased sperm mobility, irregularities in sperm shape and structure or low quality of sperm

ICSI Procedure

The procedure of ICSI is initiated with the collection of sperm and ovum. Then the sperm is immobilised with laser or other immobilisation techniques and aspirated into a microinjection needle. This is then injected directly into the cytoplasm of ovum or egg that is held with a pipette.

ICSI procedure helps in ensuring a high rate of success in fertilisation. The implantation of the embryo is done after 3 days of fertilisation with a success rate of about 41%. Implantation done after about 6 days ensures better results with about 63% success rate.

Sperm Collection Techniques in ICSI

In men with issues of low sperm count, sperm collection by natural methods are not possible. It needs to be extracted with the help of surgical procedures. The surgical sperm extraction methods include: -
  • MESA (Micro Epidydimal Sperm Aspiration)
  • PESA (Percutaneous Sperm Aspiration)
  • TESE (Testicular Sperm Extraction) – sperm is collected directly from the testes.

Benefits of ICSI

The benefits of ICSI are as described below: -
  • Can help treat severe cases of male infertility
  • Can help in successful fertilization even with low mobility and young sperms as well
  • Effective in cases where IVF has failed many times
  • Can use sperm after genetic testing for deformities

With a motto of providing a helping hand to nature, Genesis Fertility Research Centre (GFRC) offers quality treatments for all infertility issues powered by the skill and expertise of a highly-qualified faculty.

Why Am I Not Getting Pregnant ?

Infertility is an issue that a lot of couples face. But with the advent of the modern technology, infertility issues can now be overcome and is no more an incurable disorder.

http://www.ivfgenesis.com/egg-donation/

Infertility can also refer to the biological inability of an individual to contribute to conception due to reasons that may vary from the inability to transfer gametes, to accept the incoming gamete for fusion to reasons that even medical science fails to explain. Around 30% of the infertility issues are found in females. This may be due to the reasons like irregular ovulation cycle, unhealthy eggs, problems with the uterine wall, irregular secretion of female hormone or the like.
When a female is unable to produce eggs viable for pregnancy even after medication, the only method to resort is egg donation. Egg Donation might also be needed when the female has suffered an early menopause, wherein her menstrual cycles are stopped. Also, some women are born without ovaries and reproductive organs. This method might be needed for females who have endured damage to their reproductive organs due to some earlier treatments or surgically removed due to some diseases.
The eggs are collected from a donor female and are made to fuse artificially with the sperms from the male partner of the recipient female. The fused zygote is then implanted into the uterus of the recipient female. This is a method that has been successfully tried in a large number of females who have the inability to produce eggs that are viable for a pregnancy.
GFRC is an extremely distinguished Medical Center for Infertility in Erode with all facilities under one roof. Dr. Nirmala Sadhasivam has long-standing experience in treating with infertility issues and her knowledge in IVF treatments have made her one of the most trusted doctors in this field.

Making Your Dream of Family into A Reality

Blastocyst culture is a technique that is developed for In Vitro Fertilization (IVF). This procedure increases the pregnancy rates and decreases the multiple pregnancies risk. It mimics the natural growth pattern as they have transit in the fallopian tubes. During the natural cycle fertilization, the eggs are fertilized by the sperms in the fallopian tubes in the outer one-third called ampulla. By peristaltic movement the eggs are slowly rolled toward the uterus and on the fifth day end the eggs reach uterine cavity. This stage enhances the sticking capability of the eggs to the endometrium of the uterus, after blastocyst hatching from the shell called Zona Pellucida. The blastocyst culture doubles the implantation rates.

http://www.ivfgenesis.com/blastocyst-culture/

When is blastocyst transfer recommended ?

Many hospitals are now offering blastocyst transfer in order to improve chances of getting pregnant after single embryo transfer. This is particularly recommended for younger women with a good prognosis for pregnancy from IVF. Doctor may also advice blastocyst transfer if you have developed good quality embryos in a previous IVF cycle but they failed to implant in the womb. It is usually not recommended if you produce fewer than normal healthy eggs.

If the couple has limited embryos and meager chances for the growth of the embryo then they are advised for “Sequential Transfer”. The same doctor undertakes both the transfers to avoid chaos by using soft catheters to avoid sibling embryos and endometrium. The embryologist should be greatly knowledge and expertise about the Blastocyst culture technique.
